Photographic Prices
Listed below are my prices for the photographic services I provide.
Note that discounts are available depending on the number of images requested.
Searching the Parish Church Photographic Archive (Required)
If you have a specific church or item in a church in mind then I can look it up in my archive and extract the images. The archive is currently not electronically searchable and I will have to do this manually. I can then provide you with thumbnail views of the subject. This is a time-intensive process and there is a charge for doing this regardless of whether images are subsequently ordered or not. The fee also applies to any of my images you may have seen published elsewhere, such as Twitter, Instagram or books.
Subject Search (per session): £35 (already included in the price should you order any of the images).
Full Resolution Images (standard images for publication)
Full resolution images are typically 10 to 22 MP (large enough to print at poster size). The price includes basic post-processing such as level adjustment and colour correction. Usage rights are worldwide for a single publication only. If the image is used on the cover of a publication then there is an additional charge.
Per Image: £75
Per Cover Image: £95
Full Resolution Images (specialist images for publication)
Specialist images include overhead views or other views where I have used special photographic techniques requiring more work than standard photography. The price includes basic post-processing such as level adjustment and colour correction. Usage rights are worldwide for a single publication only. If the image is used on the cover of a publication then there is an additional charge.
Per Image: £200
Per Cover Image: £220
Images for Temporary Display
Temporary display means where the image is used for only a limited time, such as in a gallery or at an exhibition. This includes digital or printed display of the image. The fee is per month, with the initial month effectively free, as it includes the subject search fee. Usage rights are for display at the event only.
Per Image per Month: £35
Location-based Photography
All of the images taken for the project will be delivered to you. Basic post-processing is included - there are no hidden or additional costs. Usage rights are worldwide and there is no time limit on their use. However, you may not use the images for any illegal or immoral purposes, or where the images would violate copyright of a third party, unless you have already obtained appropriate permissions.
First Hour: £180
Additional Hours: £90 per hour
Travel Costs: £0.70 per mile for projects further than 20 miles from Bradford, Yorkshire.
Accommodation: At cost if the project requires one or more overnight stays.
