The Parish Church Photographic Survey

Nearly thirty years. Eight thousand churches. Half a million images.

The Survey

The Parish Church Photographic Survey is documenting in detail every rural Church of England parish church in England — its architecture, monuments, glass, brasses, fonts, hatchments, wall paintings, and furnishings. Now approaching 10,000 churches and 500,000 images, it is the largest photographic archive of English church art and architecture in existence.
